Erickson Senior Living is in the preliminary stages of developing a new community, The Grandview®, to be located on 33 acres in North Bethesda on the grounds of the former Marriott International headquarters.
The proposed community will include up to 1,300 independent living units, 210 assisted living and memory care units, and 50 skilled nursing units with public amenities spaces on ground level.
Construction of the first phase commenced in early 2023 and includes 247 independent living units and various amenity spaces. Opening is scheduled for late 2025.

Construction of the second residential building began in 2024. This phase includes 254 independent living units and is scheduled to open in late 2026.
